IS Rating Skills is a 2-day CORE course and a pre-requisite for the STANDARD IS for Operations course and the IS v1.2 and v2.1 D&AB accreditation courses.
This two-day course will provide participants with the ability to plan for and implement successful sustainability initiatives that drive outcomes. At the end of this course, learners will be able to formulate BAU assumptions to develop a base case and assess materiality of IS credits as they apply to their project.
Self-paced introduction modules explore the foundations of infrastructure sustainability and the IS Rating Scheme. This is followed by two collaborative facilitated sessions in which learners will explore risks, opportunities, and real project examples of delivering sustainable outcomes. Participants will be able to discuss with like-minded individuals how to implement best practice principles and tools to achieve and drive sustainability outcomes.

Be part of our new session in 2023. In 2022 the ISC introduced the RISE Mentoring Program to enable future leaders to connect with industry professionals as part of their development journey. The inaugural program saw 19 mentors and 19 mentees teamed together. The RISE Mentoring Program aims to support the development of a thriving industry. Both mentors and mentees reported an enhanced understanding of challenges facing today's upcoming infrastructure sustainability professionals, an appreciation of knowledge and experience sharing, and satisfaction in the relationships built during the 9-month program.
The 2023 program is now open to applications for both mentors and mentees. Applications must be submitted on the ISC form and will be accepted up to March 2023.
