Western Australia Connect is the premier event for sustainable infrastructure
Join us for our two-day Western Australia Connect conference in Perth, focused on 'Resilient Infrastructure for People and Planet' and a supplier showcase. The two-day conference will bring together thought leaders, practitioners, and advocates from across Australia to discuss and debate the critical issues facing our industry and societies today, as well as explore practical solutions to create a sustainable future. Our society depends on infrastructure and it is imperative that we develop in a way that is responsible and sustainable for future generations.
31 March 2025: A forum for knowledge sharing, capability-building and networking
Day one will follow the symposium’s more usual format and will have a focus on rating developments and case studies. Experts from the Infrastructure Sustainability Council and guest speakers from industry will be sharing their insights on the big challenges at hand, including the carbon and nature nexus and net zero. Day one will include a networking reception following the presentations.
1 April 2025: Exploring possibilities, forging partnerships and collaboration
If you’re in the throes of a project or about to embark on one (big or small!), the Sustainable Suppliers Showcase Day should be on your radar. The day will bring product and service suppliers and procurement together. The day will feature presentations from manufacturers and distributors, showcasing new products from equipment to materials and tech, as well as pitches from suppliers and service-providers demonstrating how their solutions drive sustainable outcomes.
The day equally presents a unique opportunity for those involved in the procurement of products and services to voice their expectations, the challenges and concerns they face and their appetite to offer a pathway to better, more sustainable solutions in the future. If you work in engineering, designing, procurement, project management or sustainability then this day is for you.
We feel it is high time to shine a light on the heroes along the supply chain who put their hearts and minds into supporting people, planet and the economy with their innovative products and sustainability services.
This is a bi-monthly supplier showcase hosted by the IS Council, with each edition featuring six unique suppliers.
Be sure to tune in if:
- you are a procurer, influencer or decision-maker seeking suppliers that are willing to go beyond business-as-usual
- you want to stay up-to-date with the latest products and services in the infrastructure sustainability space
- you are undertaking an IS Rating and looking for collaborative partners to accelerate your pathway to better outcomes for your project.
Delivered in a snappy 45 minute lunchtime session, you will hear a quick pitch from each presenter followed by a short Q&A. If you're unable to attend the live webinar please still register as each episode will be recorded and sent to you to view in your own time.
