Infrastructure Sustainability Materials Calculator
Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) Materials Calculator is an assessment tool for embodied materials impacts and supports the IS Rating Scheme. It provides a level playing field assessment tool for materials lifecycle impacts. The calculator can be used to inform design decisions to use resources more efficiently and select lower impact materials and product options.
The IS Materials Calculator can be used on all projects undertaking an IS Rating, including ISv1.2, ISv2.1 and IS Essentials.
As part of the Product Partnership Program, material suppliers can have their branded products included in the IS Materials Calculator. To do this, products will need to have an EN 15804-compliant EPD* (Environmental Product Declaration**). Fees to include a branded product in the IS Materials Calculator are provided in the schedule below.
It is important to note that this program is only available to Infrastructure Sustainability Council Members.
Our Membership fees are based on annual turnover and you can find pricing information for each tier, including their benefits here (click to the tab for which turnover bracket relates to your business). You have the option of joining as a Standard member or taking advantage of additional benefits as a ValuePlus member.
