About

Djookian provides renewable energy solutions designed to replace diesel applications. The Purple Pod is a compact hybrid energy unit designed to replace diesel generators up to 45kva. An all in one, compact renewable solution, the Purple Pod includes a fuel optimised diesel generator, a 2kw solar cassette, up to 60kw/h. For larger applications we provide Purple Cubes which are stand alone battery energy storage systems which can be paired with diesel generators and photovoltaic arrays,

Sustainability Outcomes

Renewables are cheaper than diesel generators in variable load applications. Diesel generators need to be sized to handle peak load. In variable load applications such as portable buildings and cranes, the gap between the average load and peak load is often significant. Diesel generators are then producing mechanical energy that is not required as electrical energy. This excess mechanical energy is wasted fuel and carbon. A Purple Cube only delivers the energy that is asked of it. Even when the diesel generator is charging the Purple Cube, the Purple Cube makes the engine operate at it’s optimum efficiency. In most variable load applications, diesel run times can be reduced down to zero to 2 hours per day. Our plant and equipment is paired with carbon monitoring and reporting software which helps to maximise efficiencies while providing a tool to drive behaviours to reduce carbon impacts and improve sustainability.

Ene-1 (ISv1.2) Djookian plant and distribution equipment can be used to track all energy generating plant onsite through our software package Modoken which tracks what we call the four C's of carbon monitoring and reporting. Consumption: Modoken delivers real time and historical data about your site’s energy consumption in kilowatt hours. This data is crucial in ensuring your sites renewable energy solution is providing the most efficient and cost-effective power at the tap. Consumption data also offers the opportunity to reduce energy usage by way of behavioural and appliance improvements. Cost: Modoken can take into account your cost of fuel, mains power, rental of assets and internal rate of return on assets to calculate live information about your sites energy costs. This can be used to benchmark products, sites and projects to create best practice energy methodology across your entire business. Carbon: One of the most important features of Modoken is its ability to provide carbon reporting at an asset, site or fleet level. This can be used to measure performance over time as well as providing accurate performance measurement against base cases for internal and external ESG and emission reporting requirements. Control: The control feature of the Modoken software package measures performance against KPI’s determined by you around such factors as solar production, battery cycling targets, equipment maintenance, daily diesel run hours and myriad other inputs to determine the success of your renewable energy transition plan. These KPI’s can vary depending on who is using the data and the scope of their role. Anything from high level behavioural information at site level, right through to granular asset and business performance for asset management and C-Suite personnel.
Ene-2 (ISv1.2) Djookian's hybrid renewable generators and photovoltaic systems generate clean, free energy. Our hybrid renewable range also helps reduce diesel consumption through only producing power that is used, reducing waste. Djookian's approach to managing energy generation across sites provides a comprehensive data set which can be used to reward investigation and use of renewable energy sources. This data can drive change through demonstrating the improvements in sustainability that are created through use of renewable efficient energy generating plant and equipment.

Wfs-4 (ISv2.1) Djookian provide temporary power solutions for site facilities which reduce noise, emissions, resource use and waste. Reduction in these environmental impacts can improve site worker wellbeing. Our hybrid and hydrogen powered light towers produce light that minimises impacts to workers from artificial light.
