About
APS are currently introducing a new product called the Instagrid ONE to the Australian market. This unit is designed to replace 2-8kVA petrol & diesel generators for temporary power. With the Instagrid, you are essentially taking a 240V wall socket with you, to power any device, no matter where you are. Being IP54, it is robust and weather-proof, working in any conditions, unaffected by dust or water. It has an attachable RCD box, that allows you multiple outlets, and the ability to connect multiple batteries to double or triple your storage. The Instagrid is the only portable battery / power station within the market that is suitable on a construction site.
Sustainability Outcomes
Removes the requirement for portable petrol & diesel generators 0 noise & 0 emissions Sourced and manufactured sustainably, including the battery frame being made from recycled aluminum. Instagrid have teamed up with external partners and have determined that 91% of the product can be recycled at the end of the batteries life. 80.5% of the product undergoes material recycling, while 10.3% is allocated to energetic recycling. The remaining 9% is designated for disposal, and Instagrid are continuously finding ways to reduce this number – to recover as much material as possible.
