In essence, SmartRock's innovative approach to concrete testing not only enhances construction efficiency but also plays a crucial role in reducing the environmental footprint of construction materials throughout their lifecycle.
Was-2 (ISv1.2) The traditional approach for concrete construction involves creating multiple concrete cylinders for each pour, which are later broken at predetermined intervals based on project specifications. This process results in substantial concrete waste, as the crushed cylinders are discarded and sent to landfill. However, adopting the concrete maturity method, as facilitated by Giatec SmartRock can significantly reduce this waste. By determining in-situ concrete strength using the maturity method instead of physical break tests, reliance on cylinders decreases, thereby reducing concrete waste on job sites.
