Overview

AeroWest (Seymour Whyte Constructions and BMD Constructions Joint Venture) is committed to applying the principles of sustainability in the decision-making process and delivery of the WSA Landside Civil and Buildings works. The IS Rating will help AeroWest to establish sustainability targets, measure performance and shape sustainability initiatives in line with standards that have been adopted by the Australian and New Zealand’s infrastructure sector.

The landside and civil works will include the design and construction of the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport’s landside facilities including earthworks and drainage, a road network including connections to the terminal precinct, ground transport facilities, active transport connections, ancillary facilities for aviation support functions, public utility networks, integrated communication systems, landscaping, wayfinding and signage.
