About
Viridis Australasia have been on the forefront of the built environment sustainability for more than 15 years when our Director delivered the first Green Star certified building in Australia. Since then we have been involved in built environment projects which have strived to leave positive, lasting legacies. We have worked with community and commercial stakeholders, along with all levels of government to implement features and programs that benefit the broader community in addition to the primary goals of the projects, running workshops with project teams to identify ways to include additional initiatives that achieve long-term benefits to the environment or the wider community. We have helped projects to use their onsite footpaths to improve the broader footpath networks in their community; helped clients set up local bike-sharing programs, and worked with architects to identify materials that met both environmental and heritage requirements.
Natural and cultural heritage is important to us, and our team includes a diverse mix of professionals from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. In addition to our sustainability architects and engineers, our team includes environmental scientists with backgrounds in archaeology and cultural heritage.

Viridis can leverage our experience in environmental sciences, heritage and archaeology to help guide your Heritage consultant through the requirements of HER-1, ensuring that the process of assessing and protecting natural, historic, indigenous, and intangible heritage elements achieves the best possible outcome for your project. We can provide advice and guidance on public liaison, induction materials, and design and interpretation considerations to help integrate heritage aspects into the project, ensuring that the stories of the unique heritage of your site are shared.
